Tonight we invited my parents over for dinner. Forgetting that we are in the technology/paperless era I thought they had to bring out trip tickets. Although they were e-mailed I thought it might still be nice to have them over. Guinea pigs for some other new recipes I wanted to try.
We started with a shrimp bisque
Then had mushroom stuffed beef tenderloin with glazed carrots
And ended with gingerbread cake with ice cream.
I think everything turned out ok. I did leave the tenderloin in a bit too long so it was a little overdone but still tasty.
Have I mentioned how much I love my cookbook? I really do. Can't wait to try out some more recipes.
