I did it...

I'm so proud of myself. I found a template from a site (sorry Di, not from the one you suggested) and figured out how to upload it all on my own. I guess I'm not so computer illiterate. I'm not sure if this is my favourite template, but it will do for now. You may see a few changes over the next little while as I try to find one I really like. Of course I may just get lazy and leave this one until I decide to search for more.
